Rob Sheridan
Managing Director – Finlog & Frisby Lakes
Rob Sheridan is the Managing Director of both Finlog and Frisby Lakes and has been a driving force in the log building and holiday park sector since the mid-1990s. With over three decades of hands-on experience, Rob is widely regarded as an authority on log cabins, transportable buildings and sustainable park development.
His journey began in landscaping, alongside designing and supplying bespoke log buildings for use as pool houses and garden rooms. As demand grew and his expertise deepened, Rob expanded the business into transportable log buildings, a move that positioned Finlog as a respected name within the mobile and leisure building sector. This evolution ultimately led to the development of Frisby Lakes, a flagship project that blends high-quality lodge living with environmental stewardship.
Rob has an encyclopaedic knowledge of log cabins and their construction, but his passion extends far beyond log buildings. He is deeply involved in the ongoing development and care of the Frisby Lakes nature reserve, where conservation, biodiversity and responsible land management sit at the heart of decision-making.
A respected voice within the industry, Rob plays an active role in shaping legislative change across the holiday park sector and the wider mobile building industry, particularly in relation to environmental standards and sustainable development. His expertise has seen him featured on ITV’s Tonight programme and the BBC’s Panorama, where he has contributed to national conversations around the sector.
Practical, principled, and quietly innovative, Rob continues to lead Finlog and Frisby Lakes with a long-term vision rooted in quality, sustainability, and doing things the right way.
