Meet the Team

Dan, the son of Rob and Sharon, is an integral part of the Frisby Lakes team and resides on-site. He leads the lakeside operations, overseeing the hire of paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes. Dan is fully qualified as both a paddleboard instructor and an open water swimming lifeguard, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Having grown up in London, Dan spent nearly a decade working alongside his father, gaining hands-on experience building log cabins across the UK. This practical background has given him a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the family business.

In addition to his operational role, Dan plays a key part in event catering, where he showcases his passion for cooking. He is particularly known for his distinctive dishes, including his signature marinated ham.

Dan is also an enthusiastic angler, with an impressive personal best catch of a 35lb carp from the lakes. He is especially passionate about sharing this interest with others and is dedicated to supporting children with Special Educational Needs in learning to fish. Known for his patience and calm approach, Dan takes the time to guide individuals through various fishing techniques, helping to create an inclusive and rewarding experience at Frisby Lakes.
